# Welcome to DecorX

Start here to understand DecorX and the main workflows available in the Portal.

DecorX helps furniture brands, sales teams, and design teams prepare product information, define reusable visual direction, and create product imagery from their catalog.

### How the main areas fit together

1. **Projects** — Organize related work around a client, campaign, collection, or creative project.
2. **Products** — Your Product Library contains the catalog records and source images used across DecorX.
3. **Style Kits** — Reusable visual direction, references, and guidelines that help keep generated imagery consistent.
4. **Scene Generator** — Create lifestyle scenes from groups of products with shared generation settings.
5. **Product Studio** — Create structured product-image sets such as Silo, Lifestyle, and Close-up outputs.
6. **Fabric Mapper** — Apply fabrics and finishes across product images, including batch workflows.
7. **Designer** — A freeform visual workspace with canvas tools and AI-assisted workflows.
8. **Gallery** — Review and manage generated images that have been saved to the workspace.

Long-running generation work can continue in the background and can be tracked from the **Job Queue**.

### Where to begin

If you are new to DecorX, start with Getting started. It covers the shortest path from signing in to creating and reviewing your first outputs.

Use **Help & feedback** in the Portal whenever you need support or want to request a feature.

# Getting started

Follow the shortest path from workspace access to finished images.

Use this path the first time you use DecorX. After that, move between Projects, Products, Style Kits, Scene Generator, Product Studio, Fabric Mapper, Designer, and Gallery as your work requires.

### 1. Sign in and join your workspace

Open your DecorX invite or sign in directly.

Depending on your account, you can sign in with:

* **Google**
* **Passwordless email** using a sign-in link or verification code
* **Email and password**

If you are joining an existing workspace, complete the invite flow after signing in.

### 2. Review or add products

Open **Products** to review the Product Library.

You can add products by uploading images, importing from a product URL, or importing a larger product list from **CSV or Excel** when that option is available.

Before generating, confirm that the product name, brand, SKU, images, and other important details are correct.

### 3. Choose or create a Style Kit

Open **Style Kits** to choose an existing visual direction or create a new one.

Style Kits can include written guidelines, visual references, architecture direction, props, and other reusable creative context.

### 4. Choose the right workflow

Use **Scene Generator** for grouped lifestyle-scene generation across multiple products.

Use **Product Studio** when you need a structured set of product imagery such as Silo, Lifestyle, and Close-up assets.

Use **Fabric Mapper** for product fabric and finish variations.

Use **Designer** when you want a freeform canvas, AI-assisted editing, layout exploration, or a more hands-on creative workflow.

### 5. Track generation

Long-running jobs can continue in the background. Open the **Job Queue** to review active and recently completed work without staying on the original page.

### 6. Review and export

Review completed outputs in the workflow where they were created or in **Gallery** when the image has been saved there.

Several workflows support configurable exports, including filename templates, metadata tokens, ZIP organization, and saved export preferences.

### 7. Get help

Open **Help & feedback** in the Portal to contact support or request a feature.

# Joining with an invite link

An invite link lets you join an existing workspace in the DecorX Portal.

An **invite link** lets you join an existing workspace in the DecorX Portal.

***

### What you need

* A valid invite link from a workspace admin.
* Access to the email account you plan to use for DecorX.

***

### How joining works

1. Open the invite link you received.
2. If you are not already signed in, you will be asked to sign in or create an account first.
3. After sign-in, DecorX will finish adding you to the workspace.
4. When joining succeeds, you will land on **Home** in the Portal.

If something goes wrong, you may see **Unable to join workspace** with a short explanation. Try opening the app again, returning to login, or asking the person who invited you for a fresh invite link.

***

### If the link does not work

* Check that the link was copied in full and has not been edited.
* If the link is invalid or expired, request a new one from your workspace admin.

# Workspace & members

Learn how your team manages workspace members, roles, and shared access.

Workspace settings live under **Settings** in the Portal. This is where eligible teammates can manage the workspace name, members, roles, and invitations.

### Workspace name

Workspace admins can update the workspace name from **Settings → Workspace**.

### Invite teammates by email

Workspace admins can invite teammates from the workspace members area.

1. Open **Settings → Workspace**.
2. Open the members management view.
3. Enter the teammate's email address.
4. Choose a role.
5. Send the invitation.

The teammate can complete the invite after signing in or creating an account.

### Roles

Use **Member** for teammates who need to work in DecorX without managing workspace-level settings.

Use **Admin** for teammates who need to manage members, roles, billing-related settings, or other workspace administration.

### Shared and private work

Not every item in a workspace is automatically shared with every member. Some products, Style Kits, generated assets, and in-progress work can have their own visibility or ownership rules.

Use the controls shown in each workflow to understand whether something is private, shared, or publicly shareable.

# Product Library overview

Learn how Product Library helps your team prepare products for generation and project work.

**Products** is your Product Library: the catalog used across Scene Generator, Product Studio, Fabric Mapper, Designer, and other DecorX workflows.

### What it is for

Use Product Library to keep source images and product metadata ready for reuse across creative workflows.

Typical information includes:

* Product name
* Brand
* SKU or external identifier
* Product images
* Category
* Material and color or finish information
* Dimensions
* Product URL

### Adding products

Products can be added through:

* Image upload
* Product URL import
* CSV or Excel import for larger product lists
* DecorX-managed shared catalogs when enabled for your workspace

### How Products connect to the rest of DecorX

* **Scene Generator** uses catalog products to build grouped lifestyle scenes.
* **Product Studio** uses products to create structured asset sets.
* **Fabric Mapper** uses products as source imagery for fabric and finish variations.
* **Designer** lets you place products onto a canvas and work with them visually.

### Finding products

Use the search, filters, sort controls, and available list views to find products quickly.

See also Adding products and Editing product details.

# Adding products

Add products to DecorX from images, URLs, or spreadsheet imports.

Open **Products** and use the available add or import actions.

### Upload images

Use image upload when you already have product photography and want to create product records from those files.

After upload, review the generated product records and fill in any metadata your team relies on.

### Import from URL

Use **Import from URL** when you have a public product page.

Paste the full product-page URL and start the import. DecorX will attempt to retrieve product information and images from the page.

Not every website exposes the same information, so always review the product afterward.

### Import from CSV or Excel

For larger product lists, use the spreadsheet import workflow when available.

Upload a supported CSV or Excel file, review the import status, and check any rows that could not be processed.

After the import finishes, the successfully imported products appear in Product Library and can be used in other DecorX workflows.

### Shared catalogs

Some workspaces can enable DecorX-managed partner catalogs. Products from enabled catalogs can appear alongside your own catalog products without requiring you to upload them manually.

### If something goes wrong

If an import fails:

* Review the error or import-result message
* Confirm the source image or URL is accessible
* Check that spreadsheet columns contain the expected data
* Retry the affected product or row
* Contact support through **Help & feedback** if the issue continues

# Editing product details

Keep your catalog clean, searchable, and ready for reuse.

Select a product on **Products** to open **Product Details**.

<figure><img src="https://2949907738-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FpRshSEf6vfXpBPAE2IEP%2Fuploads%2F0mx2AScUury1lRsBNNNn%2Fscreenshot-1777653938867.png?alt=media&amp;token=b4f95a1c-910f-48d6-840c-0fcae1edf6bf" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

### Viewing

You see the product name, description when present, images, and a **Details** section with fields such as price, category, material and color/finish tags, dimensions, and a **Product page** link when a URL is stored.

Tap an image to enlarge it. **View all photos** may appear when there are many images. SKU and brand may appear together in a summary line.

If there is no **Edit** button, you likely have view-only access. Ask a workspace admin or the DecorX team.

***

### Editing

Choose **Edit** to change the record. **Cancel** leaves without saving; **Save** applies changes. **Saving…** appears while changes are being stored.

**Product name**, **Brand**, and **Category** must be filled in to save. **Product URL** should be a full `http` or `https` link, or cleared for image-only items. **Price** should be a valid number or left empty.

You can edit SKU, brand, name, description, price, category, material and color/finish, dimensions, and product URL. For material and color/finish, add tags with **Enter**.

In edit mode, use **Add images** and the **X** on thumbnails to adjust photos. You can open thumbnails in the lightbox as usual.

***

### Deleting products

With catalog access, you can delete products from the **Products** page.

In **grid** view, use the product card menu or right-click menu where available. You may also be able to select multiple products with checkboxes, then use the bottom bar to clear the selection or delete the selected products.

In **table** view, use row checkboxes to select products, then use the bottom bar for bulk actions.

Deletion is permanent, so confirm only when you mean it. If delete, multi-select, or bulk actions are missing, ask a workspace admin or the DecorX team.

***

### Tips

* After **Import from URL**, plan a quick review pass on images and required fields.
* If a thumbnail looks wrong, refresh the page or reopen **Product Details**.
* Add **Material** and **Color / Finish** tags one at a time so the record stays easy to read.

***

### Common issues

* Save asks for **name, brand, and category** — complete those first.
* Price or URL errors — use a normal number for price, or a full web link. Leave the URL blank for image-only products.
* When adding images in edit mode, choose supported image files from the picker.

# Style Kit overview

Learn how Style Kits keep generated imagery aligned with a reusable visual direction.

A **Style Kit** is a saved set of creative direction that can include written guidelines, reference images, architecture cues, props, and other visual context.

Style Kits were previously called **Brand Kits**.

### Why Style Kits matter

Style Kits let teams define visual direction once and reuse it across generation workflows instead of rebuilding the same guidance for every run.

They are useful for:

* Brand-consistent room styling
* Campaign-specific visual direction
* Reusable material, architecture, and prop guidance
* Sharing an approved look across a team

### Where Style Kits are used

Style Kits can be selected or referenced in workflows such as **Scene Generator** and **Designer**, depending on the action you are performing.

Designer also includes Style Kit access directly from the workspace so you can browse or create visual direction without leaving the canvas.

### Shared and private Style Kits

A Style Kit can be shared with the workspace or kept private depending on its visibility settings and your role.

If you cannot edit or share a kit, ask the kit owner or a workspace admin.

# Creating and editing a Style Kit

Build a Style Kit your team can reuse across generation workflows.

Open **Style Kits** from the sidebar, or access Style Kits from Designer when that workflow is available.

### Create a Style Kit

You can create a Style Kit in several ways depending on the current interface:

* Start from scratch
* Start from a template
* Generate a starting point from reference images
* Blend existing Style Kits
* Create one from selected images in Designer

### Build the visual direction

A Style Kit can contain sections such as:

* Written guidelines
* Reference images
* Architecture and style elements
* Props and recurring visual cues
* Other reusable creative direction

Use clear names and descriptions so teammates understand what each section is intended to control.

### Rename, duplicate, share, or delete

When your role allows it, use the Style Kit menu to rename, duplicate, change visibility, or delete a kit.

### Editing in Designer

Designer includes Style Kit access inside the creative workspace. This makes it possible to browse, create, and refine Style Kits while working with the images that inspired them.

### Read-only access

Some Style Kits may be visible but not editable. This can happen when a kit is private, owned by another teammate, or restricted by your workspace permissions.

# Scene Generator overview

Learn how products, groups, settings, and outputs fit together in Scene Generator.

**Scene Generator** is the workflow for creating lifestyle scenes from groups of catalog products at scale.

Scene Generator was previously called **Batch Generator**.

### Main ideas

* **Scene Generator project** — A saved generation workspace containing products, groups, settings, and outputs.
* **Product pool** — The products available to the current workflow.
* **Groups** — Products that should appear together in a generated scene.
* **Style Kit** — Reusable visual direction for the generation.
* **Generation settings** — Controls such as variations, dimensions, prompts, and optional quality settings.
* **Generated images** — Results produced for each group.

### When to use Scene Generator

Use Scene Generator when you want:

* Multiple room or lifestyle scenes
* Structured generation across many products
* Shared settings across groups
* Multiple variations per scene

For structured product-image sets, use **Product Studio**. For freeform visual exploration, use **Designer**.

# Creating a Scene Generator project

Set up a Scene Generator project for grouped lifestyle generation.

Open **Scene Generator** from the sidebar and create a new project.

### Name the project

Use a name that makes the purpose easy to recognize later, such as:

* Spring catalog rooms
* New dining collection
* April sales samples
* Bedroom lifestyle concepts

### Add products and groups

Add catalog products to the product pool, then organize them into groups based on the scenes you want to create.

### Choose settings

Before generating, review the Style Kit, prompts, dimensions, variations, and any quality or evaluation options shown in the interface.

### Return later

Scene Generator projects are saved so you can return to them later. Long-running generation can continue through the background job system even if you leave the page.

# Adding and grouping products

Add products to Scene Generator and organize them into clear groups.

A Scene Generator project starts with products from Product Library.

### Add products

Use **Add products** to search and select catalog items for the current project.

Depending on your workspace, product pickers can include your own products and enabled shared catalogs.

### Product pool

The product pool contains everything available to the current Scene Generator project.

Removing a product from the pool does not delete it from Product Library.

### Manual grouping

Groups represent the scenes you want to generate.

You can add groups, move products between them, adjust quantities, rename groups, and add group-specific direction.

### Auto-group

When available, **Auto-group** can suggest product groupings based on the products in the pool and the grouping options you choose.

Review suggested groups before generating and adjust them as needed.

# Choosing generation settings

Choose the settings that shape Scene Generator outputs.

Review generation settings before starting a larger run.

### Style Kit

Choose a **Style Kit** when you want reusable visual direction to guide the generated scenes.

### Variations

Variations control how many outputs are generated for each group.

More variations provide more options to review and can use additional credits.

### Dimensions

Choose the aspect ratio or output dimensions that fit the intended use.

### Prompts

Use the project-level prompt for direction that should apply broadly.

Use group-level prompts for scene-specific exceptions or additional context.

### Evaluation or quality mode

When the evaluation option is available, you can enable a higher-quality generation path that performs additional processing before returning the final result.

This mode can use more credits than standard generation.

### Generate

Start generation when the products, groups, and settings are ready.

Use the **Job Queue** to keep track of longer-running generation while you continue working elsewhere in DecorX.

# Reviewing and editing generated images

Review, edit, and export images created in Scene Generator.

Generated images appear inside each group as they complete.

Use a clear project name so teammates understand what belongs together.

### Project actions

Depending on the current view, project actions can include:

* Rename
* Duplicate
* Delete
* Share

### Public read-only sharing

When public sharing is enabled, DecorX creates a read-only link that can be sent to someone outside the workspace.

The recipient can open the shared project without signing in.

You can disable sharing when the link should no longer work. If needed, regenerate the share link to invalidate an older one.

### Keep work organized

Use Projects to keep related assets and workflow context together instead of relying only on individual tool pages or generated outputs.

# Plans & credits

See where to check plan details and credit use for your workspace.

**Plan & usage** lives under **Settings** in the DecorX Portal. This is where eligible teammates can review the workspace plan, credit balance, and billing-related actions.

In the app, this area appears under **Plan & usage** in **Settings**.

***

### What you can see

The **Plan & usage** section may show:

* The current workspace plan
* Subscription or trial status
* Payment method status
* Renewal, trial, or access dates when available
* Credits remaining for the workspace

What you see may depend on your workspace settings, role, and billing setup.

***

### What credits are

Credits are the workspace balance used for generation and editing actions in the Portal.

When your team runs actions that use credits, the remaining balance goes down. Check **Credits remaining** under **Settings** → **Plan & usage** to see the current balance.

DecorX applies the exact rules for what uses credits and how much. If you have questions about your workspace’s credit usage, ask a workspace admin or the DecorX team.

***

### Choosing or changing a plan

Workspace admins may see actions such as choosing a plan, changing a plan, updating payment details, or managing subscription settings.

If you are not a workspace admin, you may still be able to view plan and usage information, but billing actions may be unavailable.

If you need a plan change, payment update, or billing help, ask a workspace admin or the DecorX team.

***

### When generation is blocked

If generation or editing is unavailable, the app may direct you to **Plan & usage** or show a message about credits or plan access.

Common reasons include:

* The workspace does not have an active plan
* The workspace does not have enough credits
* Your role does not allow the action
* Billing or plan access needs attention

If you are unsure, open **Settings** → **Plan & usage**, then ask a workspace admin or the DecorX team.

# Product Studio overview

Create structured sets of product imagery from catalog products.

**Product Studio** is designed for creating a repeatable set of product assets from a catalog item.

### Output types

A Product Studio set can include output types such as:

* **Silo** — isolated product imagery, including multiple angles
* **Lifestyle** — product imagery placed into a styled environment
* **Close-up** — detail-focused product imagery

### Sets and products

Create a set, add products, configure the desired output slots, and start generation.

Product Studio persists set state and generation progress so you can leave the page and return later.

### Background generation

Generation runs through background jobs. If a set is still processing, use the Job Queue or return to the set later to review completed outputs.

### Exporting

Product Studio includes configurable exports.

Depending on the set and product metadata, export options can include:

* Filename templates
* SKU and other metadata tokens
* Sequential asset numbering
* Asset-type ordering
* ZIP folder structure
* Saved export settings

### Imported products

Products added through catalog imports, CSV or Excel, and enabled shared catalogs can be used in Product Studio when they have a usable source image.

# Fabric Mapper overview

Create fabric and finish variations from product imagery.

**Fabric Mapper** applies fabric or finish references to product imagery.

Use it when you need to visualize upholstery, textile, or finish variations without rebuilding the product image from scratch.

### Batch Fabric Mapper

The batch workflow lets you:

* Add multiple products
* Add fabric or finish swatches
* Review combinations in a matrix
* Generate selected combinations
* Track generation in the background

### Mapping modes

Fabric Mapper can offer different generation modes depending on the workflow.

Standard generation is intended for the normal mapping path.

Quality-focused or Auto modes can perform additional processing and can take longer or use more credits.

### Placement controls

When manual placement is available, you can adjust how the swatch is applied, including controls such as orientation or rotation.

### Exporting

Fabric Mapper uses the shared configurable export workflow, including filename templates, product metadata, ZIP organization, and saved export settings where supported.

# Job Queue & background generation

Track longer-running generation work across DecorX.

Many DecorX generation workflows run as background jobs.

This allows longer tasks to continue while you navigate to another page or keep working elsewhere in the app.

### What the Job Queue shows

The queue can show:

* Active jobs
* Recently completed jobs
* Progress
* Thumbnails or workflow context
* Links back to the related work

### Which workflows use background jobs?

Background generation is used across workflows such as Scene Generator, Product Studio, Fabric Mapper, video generation, and other generation actions.

### Notifications

DecorX can notify you when grouped work completes. For workflows with many individual outputs, notifications are grouped when possible so a single set or project does not produce a separate completion message for every individual output.

### If a job fails

Open the related workflow to review the failure message and retry when appropriate. Billing or credit cleanup is handled automatically for supported failed or cancelled generation paths.

# Exports & file naming

Configure filenames and ZIP structure when exporting generated assets.

Product Studio, Scene Generator, and Fabric Mapper share a configurable export system.

### Filename templates

Use templates to control exported filenames.

Available metadata depends on the workflow, but can include values such as:

* SKU
* Product name
* Brand
* Color
* Asset type
* Angle
* Sequential index

### ZIP folder structure

When folder organization is enabled, exported files can be grouped into folders using the same metadata-driven template approach.

### Saved settings

Export preferences can be saved so repeated deliveries use a consistent naming convention.

### Sequential naming

Product Studio can support sequential naming across ordered asset groups, such as:

* `SKU-1`
* `SKU-2`
* `SKU-3`

This is useful when a client or downstream system requires a predictable ordered filename convention.

### Missing metadata

If a required value such as SKU is unavailable, some export configurations can skip the affected asset rather than inventing an identifier. Review the export preview before downloading large sets.

# Changelog

New updates and improvements

{% updates format="full" %}
{% update date="2026-09-22" %}

## Easier Sign-In, Flexible Exports, and Better Collaboration

We’ve shipped a new set of improvements across sign-in, Projects, exporting, Designer, and Product Studio.

This release makes it easier to get into DecorX, share work outside your workspace, keep exports consistent across tools, and recover more reliably from long-running or connected workflows.

### Sign in with Google or email

You can now continue with Google or use passwordless email when signing in or creating an account. Passwordless email supports both a sign-in link and a verification code, giving teams more ways to access DecorX without managing another password.

### Share Projects with a public link

Projects can now be shared through a read-only public link. This makes it easier to send work to clients, partners, or teammates who do not have a DecorX account.

Sharing can be turned off or regenerated when you need to revoke an older link.

### Flexible exports across more tools

The configurable export workflow is now shared across Product Studio, Scene Generator, and Fabric Mapper.

You can use filename templates, product metadata, folder structures, and saved export settings more consistently across different generation workflows.

### Better real-time updates in Designer

Designer boards now recover more reliably when a connection is interrupted, and changes are synchronized more consistently across open sessions.

Undo and redo changes also persist more reliably, so refreshing the page is less likely to bring back a state you already reversed.

### Product Studio reliability and export improvements

Imported catalog products now display more reliably in Product Studio, including index cover images for assets stored outside the default generated-image location.

Product Studio exports also support configurable sequential naming such as `SKU-1`, `SKU-2`, and `SKU-3`, making it easier to match client-specific delivery conventions.

* Improved support for CSV-imported products in Product Studio
* More reliable Silo generation and output handling
* Cleaner batch/set-level job notifications instead of one notification per individual output

## Projects, Product Imports, and More Control Over Generation

We’ve added new ways to organize work, bring larger product catalogs into DecorX, control generation quality, and prepare generated assets for delivery.

This release expands the workflow around Projects, Product Studio, Scene Generator, and the Product Library.

### Organize work with Projects

Projects give you a shared way to organize related work across DecorX tools. Instead of treating each generation workflow as a separate island, you can keep work grouped around the same client, campaign, collection, or creative project.

### Import products from CSV or Excel

You can now bring larger product lists into the Product Library with CSV or Excel imports instead of adding products one at a time.

The import flow includes progress and result states so you can review what was processed and continue working with imported products across DecorX.

### Higher-quality Scene Generator results

Scene Generator now includes an optional evaluation mode for workflows where output quality matters more than speed or credit cost.

When enabled, DecorX runs an additional quality-focused generation path and returns the selected result without exposing intermediate candidates.

### More control over Product Studio exports

Product Studio exports are now configurable instead of relying on a fixed file naming format.

You can build filename templates from product metadata, preview the resulting file paths, organize exported assets into ZIP folders, and save your export preferences for future sets.

### Improved Silo generation in Product Studio

Product Studio’s Silo workflow now uses the dedicated product-silo generation pipeline, with better support for generating multiple angles as one coordinated workflow.

We’ve also improved generation recovery and output handling so multi-angle sets complete more reliably.

### Sections in Designer

Designer now supports sections for grouping related items on the board. Sections make larger canvases easier to organize and give teams a clearer way to separate concepts, variations, or stages of work.
{% endupdate %}

{% update date="2026-08-27" %}

## Product Studio, Designer AI, and Scene Generator

This release introduces major new workflows for creating structured product imagery and working with AI directly inside Designer.

We’ve also continued improving generation persistence, canvas interactions, and the way larger creative workflows are organized across DecorX.

### Introducing Product Studio

Product Studio gives teams a structured workflow for creating a complete set of product imagery instead of generating each asset independently.

A product set can include different output types such as Silo, Lifestyle, and Close-up images, with generation state saved so you can leave the page and come back to the work later.

### AI chat in Designer

Designer now includes an AI assistant directly inside the workspace. The assistant can work with the context of your board, making it easier to ask for creative changes without moving between separate tools.

Chat supports workflows such as generating images, finding products, working with canvas content, attaching references, and continuing conversations through saved sessions.

### Batch Generator is now Scene Generator

Batch Generator has been renamed Scene Generator to better reflect its role in creating product scenes at scale.

The underlying grouped-generation workflow remains familiar, while the new name makes the purpose of the tool clearer alongside Product Studio, Fabric Mapper, and Designer.

### Better Designer canvas workflows

We’ve made a series of improvements to selection, notes, product finding, canvas interactions, and generation states inside Designer.

These changes make it easier to keep working while generations are in progress and to manage more complex boards without losing context.

### More durable background generation

Product Studio generation now uses a more persistent background workflow, so sets and outputs are not tied only to the state of the browser tab.

This makes longer generation jobs more resilient and makes it easier to return to work after navigating away or refreshing.
{% endupdate %}

{% update date="2026-07-29" %}

## Style Kits, Fabric Mapper, and Designer Workflow Improvements

We’ve made Style Kits easier to use inside Designer, added more control to Fabric Mapper, and refreshed several navigation and account workflows across DecorX.

These changes focus on keeping creative setup closer to the work and making common actions easier to find.

### Brand Kits are now Style Kits

Brand Kits have been renamed Style Kits throughout DecorX. The new name better reflects how these reusable creative directions guide the look and feel of generated imagery.

Existing kits continue to work as before; the change is primarily about making their role in the generation workflow clearer.

### Create Style Kits from Designer

You can now create a Style Kit directly from images selected on a Designer board.

Designer also includes a Style Kit panel for browsing, creating, and editing kits without leaving the canvas, making it easier to turn visual references from your current work into a reusable direction.

### More flexible Fabric Mapper controls

Fabric Mapper now includes additional controls for different mapping workflows, including Auto mode and swatch rotation during placement.

We’ve also refined progress messaging so quality-focused generation states better match real processing times.

### Better Designer project controls

Designer project actions are easier to access from the project title. You can rename, duplicate, or delete a project from the same menu while keeping inline title editing available.

### Updated account and navigation controls

The sidebar now includes a profile menu with theme controls, Settings, and sign out. Account settings have also been reorganized into clearer sections for profile, security, workspace, and advanced actions.
{% endupdate %}

## Video Generation and Fabric Mapper Quality Improvements

We’ve improved longer-running generation workflows across video and Fabric Mapper, making them easier to track and more resilient while you continue working elsewhere in DecorX.

This release also adds more quality controls and a set of smaller workflow and interface improvements.

### Generate videos in the background

Video generation now runs through the job queue, so longer video jobs can continue in the background instead of depending on keeping the editor open.

You can follow progress, cancel active work, and receive the completed result automatically when the job finishes.

### More video generation controls

Video workflows now include clearer generation options and job states for settings such as duration and output quality, while previews and pending states make it easier to understand what is still processing.

### Quality Review for Fabric Mapper

Fabric Mapper now includes an optional quality-focused mode for cases where you want an additional review step before the final mapped result is returned.

This gives teams a choice between the standard workflow and a more quality-oriented path depending on the asset they are producing.

### Easier project management

Designer project cards now have clearer actions for opening and renaming projects, with more consistent menus and interaction patterns across DecorX.

### Smaller improvements

* Improved video editing, output recovery, and failure handling
* More consistent destructive actions and menu styling
* Improved overlay, spacing, and tooltip behavior
* More reliable billing cleanup when generation jobs fail or are cancelled
  {% endupdate %}

{% update date="2026-06-15" %}

## Job Queue and Background Generation Improvements

We’ve added a new job queue experience to make longer-running generation tasks easier to track across DecorX.

You can now see active and recently completed jobs in one place, including Batch Generator and Fabric Mapper jobs. This makes it easier to keep working while larger batches run in the background.

#### Track Generation Progress Across Your Workspace

The queue shows job status, thumbnails, batch context, and progress updates as generation work moves from queued to running to completed.

<figure><img src="https://3695926321-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2Fs8tZbY8CWo1FGpDCtDaO%2Fuploads%2FsKOTRA83IuAGWkdoEqp4%2Fscreenshot-1781473040840.png?alt=media&#x26;token=ff8da58b-b48a-497a-a496-108a949e7455" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

You can also jump back into the relevant Batch Generator or Fabric Mapper batch from the queue, so it’s easier to check progress without staying on one specific page.

#### Background Jobs for Fabric Mapper

Fabric Mapper generation now runs in the background, so larger fabric and finish batches are no longer tied to keeping the page open.

<figure><img src="https://3695926321-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2Fs8tZbY8CWo1FGpDCtDaO%2Fuploads%2FCSd746ciAWoD7KSuwM5z%2Fscreenshot-1781473845439.png?alt=media&#x26;token=e5899f06-e2f7-4f36-9b3c-75a36885d2b3" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

You’ll see progress for Fabric Mapper jobs in the queue, including how many combinations have completed. When possible, Fabric Mapper also reuses intermediate outputs to make repeat batch generation more efficient.
{% endupdate %}

{% update date="2026-06-08" %}

## Fabric Mapping and Leg Finish Improvements

We’ve shipped new tools for applying fabrics and leg finishes across your product catalog more quickly.

This update introduces a new bulk Fabric Mapper workflow and adds Leg Finish support inside Designer, making it easier to create product material variations without setting up each image one at a time.

### Bulk Fabric and Finish Mapping

Fabric Mapper is now available as a dedicated batch workflow for generating fabric and leg finish variations across multiple products at once.

<figure><img src="https://3695926321-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2Fs8tZbY8CWo1FGpDCtDaO%2Fuploads%2F61bQvXc0toIAzGFMpk5a%2Fscreenshot-1780698360825.png?alt=media&#x26;token=0b290fff-9096-4090-a63b-dcc929a1e8b6" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

You can create a Fabric Mapper batch, add products, upload fabric swatches and leg finish swatches, then preview every combination in a visual matrix before generating. Each product is shown with fabrics and finishes laid out as a grid, making it easier to compare options and choose only the variations you want.

### Leg Finish in Designer

Designer now supports a new Leg Finish node for changing the leg finish on a furniture image directly on the canvas.

<figure><img src="https://3695926321-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2Fs8tZbY8CWo1FGpDCtDaO%2Fuploads%2FTzGBQfZ0BQDLDJpmbXH9%2Fscreenshot-1780697514891.png?alt=media&#x26;token=1ee21838-2f42-4cac-b4a6-869ff28febea" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

Like Fabric Mapper, the Leg Finish node uses connected image inputs. You can connect a furniture image and a leg finish swatch, then generate a new product image with the updated finish.
{% endupdate %}

## Designer Canvas, Batch Editor, and Video Improvements

We’ve shipped a new set of improvements across Designer, Batch Generator, editing tools, and media workflows to make DecorX more flexible for building, editing, and reviewing generated content.

This update includes new canvas tools, a redesigned Batch image editor, object-based product close-ups, video generation, and better support for video assets in your workspace.

### Fabric Mapper in Designer

Designer now supports a new Fabric Mapper workflow for applying a fabric swatch to a product image directly on the canvas.

<figure><img src="https://3695926321-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2Fs8tZbY8CWo1FGpDCtDaO%2Fuploads%2FXZ0Bo8CV4G2osbH3wtcs%2Fscreenshot-1779987479473.png?alt=media&#x26;token=68cb02c9-4c73-4802-beb8-65ac5a7ec18f" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

Teams can connect a furniture image and fabric swatch, place the material on the product, refine the placement, and generate a fabric-applied result without leaving the board.

This makes it easier to explore fabric options, visualize material changes, and create quick product variations from existing assets.

### Notes on the Designer canvas

You can now add notes directly to Designer boards.

<figure><img src="https://3695926321-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2Fs8tZbY8CWo1FGpDCtDaO%2Fuploads%2FCKQT5ubaZvUdmqGxjBxC%2Fscreenshot-1779990492537.png?alt=media&#x26;token=cdc8e495-d64e-47d1-a775-9d7a4cd5f110" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

Notes support different colors and sizes, and can be edited inline on the canvas. This gives teams a simple way to leave context, organize ideas, or mark up creative directions while working through concepts.

### Product close-ups from detected objects

Batch editing now supports product close-ups from detected objects in an image.

<figure><img src="https://3695926321-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2Fs8tZbY8CWo1FGpDCtDaO%2Fuploads%2FN7EH5sYpcwB0pwGSHtUI%2Fscreenshot-1779990636084.png?alt=media&#x26;token=062b2e30-6d93-4d49-847a-819a46a4b155" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

Inside the Objects tool, you can select an object and generate a product-focused close-up from that region. This is useful when you want a more detailed view of a specific furniture piece or product without starting a new batch from scratch.

### Generate video from a Batch image

You can now generate short videos from still images inside the Batch editor.

<figure><img src="https://3695926321-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2Fs8tZbY8CWo1FGpDCtDaO%2Fuploads%2FM2qvEmhl5Da3WgswdrAR%2Fvideo-1779991436344.gif?alt=media&#x26;token=72cf5a6f-4913-44c4-85d0-b96c7cb73769" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

The video tool includes motion presets, duration controls, resolution options, and aspect ratio settings, making it easier to turn approved stills into lightweight motion assets for marketing, social, or product storytelling.
{% endupdate %}

{% update date="2026-05-25" %}

## Batch Generator, Designer, and Asset Library improvements

We’ve made several updates across Batch Generator, Designer, Asset Library, and the image editor to make product imagery workflows clearer, more flexible, and easier to manage with a team.

These updates focus on a new way to organize approved assets, a more visual Designer workflow, smoother image review, in-flow Brand Kit editing, and better workspace clarity.

### New Asset Library

We added a new Asset Library for organizing approved images and creative assets.

<figure><img src="https://3695926321-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2Fs8tZbY8CWo1FGpDCtDaO%2Fuploads%2FyFWEm9yOFMKvLK396Zte%2Fscreenshot-1779983223034.png?alt=media&#x26;token=9ad676ee-3adf-436b-af46-f5acbed712fe" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

Teams can now create collections, upload assets into specific collections, and move assets between collections. This gives your workspace a more dedicated place for approved visuals, instead of relying only on generated outputs in Gallery.

### Designer canvas and AI editing improvements

Designer now supports a more flexible, node-based workflow for creating and editing images.

<figure><img src="https://3695926321-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2Fs8tZbY8CWo1FGpDCtDaO%2Fuploads%2FxziaMk3yoqTJLyzl7Yry%2Fscreenshot-1779983469092.png?alt=media&#x26;token=05113eb9-3ec3-41a6-b3f3-b2d5486001ed" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

This makes it easier to work visually with inputs, outputs, and editing actions on the canvas. Instead of everything feeling like a single linear flow, Designer can now support a more exploratory workflow where products, generated images, and edits connect together more naturally.

<figure><img src="https://3695926321-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2Fs8tZbY8CWo1FGpDCtDaO%2Fuploads%2FBGWt6z4wQUMZmqlbGbQO%2Fscreenshot-1779983614793.png?alt=media&#x26;token=165adb13-ec8e-47ef-9b1a-50e8a2389e46" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

Designer also includes more AI-powered editing tools directly in the inspector, including room cleaning, virtual staging, and prompt-based edits. These tools make it easier to clean up a scene, stage a room, or make quick prompt-based changes without leaving the canvas.

### Larger Batch image preview and editor

The Batch image preview and editor are now larger and easier to work with.

<figure><img src="https://3695926321-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2Fs8tZbY8CWo1FGpDCtDaO%2Fuploads%2FkT480pAtuecqnM5j17Fs%2Fscreenshot-1779983745276.png?alt=media&#x26;token=c846d81c-77dd-4fec-a9c3-e6025fff4fbe" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

We improved the preview area so teams can review details more comfortably. This is especially helpful when checking product accuracy, image quality, or small visual issues before downloading or making edits.

### Edit Brand Kits directly from Batch

You can now edit Brand Kits directly from the Batch workflow.

<figure><img src="https://3695926321-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2Fs8tZbY8CWo1FGpDCtDaO%2Fuploads%2Flb4FhZVnsfuAKoSS4Dw0%2Fscreenshot-1779983867847.png?alt=media&#x26;token=b6ab2dc4-a6df-4e41-a770-8169609527cc" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

This makes it easier to adjust the style direction while setting up a batch, without needing to leave the current flow. It’s especially useful when reviewing products, groups, and brand direction together before generating final imagery.

### User names and profile photos

Workspace members now have clearer user profiles with names and profile photos.

This makes it easier to understand who created or owns work across shared areas of the Portal, especially as more people from the same team join a workspace.

### More private Batch, Designer, and Gallery workspaces

Batches, Designer projects, and Gallery outputs now stay scoped to the person who created them.

This helps teams keep work-in-progress images and experiments easier to manage, especially when multiple people are testing, generating, or editing images in the same workspace.

### Better iPad and touch support

Designer now works better on iPad and touch devices.

Two-finger pan and pinch gestures are improved, and touch interactions are better separated between canvas movement, item selection, and board gestures.
{% endupdate %}

{% update date="2026-05-18" %}

## Shared product catalogs, smarter batch setup, and Learn videos

We’ve added DecorX-managed product catalogs, making it easier for teams to browse partner products, build batches, and generate images without manually uploading every item first.

### Enable shared product catalogs

Workspaces can now enable shared DecorX-managed product catalogs from **Workspace Settings**.

<figure><img src="https://3695926321-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2Fs8tZbY8CWo1FGpDCtDaO%2Fuploads%2FxWF1gm5vf1ZAvrzatzOl%2Fscreenshot-1779127620120.png?alt=media&#x26;token=eb902277-4dea-481f-af26-4721f4a8b6dc" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

Available catalogs include **A|R|T Furniture, Caracole, and Jonathan Charles**. Once enabled, catalog products appear in the Product Library and in product pickers across Batch Generator.

For teams with larger catalogs, we can also help bring your own product catalog into DecorX, including product import, image cleanup, data mapping, and catalog setup.

### Browse partner catalogs in the Product Library

The Product Library now works better for larger catalogs.

<figure><img src="https://3695926321-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2Fs8tZbY8CWo1FGpDCtDaO%2Fuploads%2FVFldz43YSOwg72dIU1yJ%2Fscreenshot-1779127520328.png?alt=media&#x26;token=65a1cbb8-3e75-41fe-b859-9d8850fa374d" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

You can browse and filter catalog products by details like brand, room, color, product type, and source. Product cards and detail views also include clearer source labels and richer product information, making it easier to find the right items before generating scenes.

### Generate and blend Brand Kits

Brand Kits are now easier to create from visual references.

<figure><img src="https://3695926321-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2Fs8tZbY8CWo1FGpDCtDaO%2Fuploads%2FeVHXQlMB3u6AK8tYFNK8%2Fscreenshot-1779128380869.png?alt=media&#x26;token=6aee81d3-9779-44e2-8916-98fb4e290259" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

You can generate a draft Brand Kit from uploaded images, then review and refine the extracted style direction, reference content, and architecture details. This makes it faster to turn inspiration images or existing brand visuals into a reusable generation style.

<figure><img src="https://3695926321-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2Fs8tZbY8CWo1FGpDCtDaO%2Fuploads%2FFOmFyJzVLqS7UGppX0Vm%2Fscreenshot-1778620171676.png?alt=media&#x26;token=bc1eca1d-dab5-4498-82bc-c313d6bd958c" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

You can also blend existing Brand Kits into a new Brand Kit, making it easier to combine multiple directions, evolve a style, or create a variation without starting from scratch.

### Smarter guided auto-grouping

Batch Generator now includes a guided auto-grouping flow.

<figure><img src="https://3695926321-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2Fs8tZbY8CWo1FGpDCtDaO%2Fuploads%2F9g2zbw83gU5EJ9MkD68j%2Fscreenshot-1779127305701.png?alt=media&#x26;token=83d70516-9591-4c8f-8c49-f7642d473ca8" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

You can choose which products to group, set the desired scene density, define the pairing goal, and add a custom grouping prompt. Auto-grouped scenes are also capped at a recommended product count, helping groups stay easier to review, edit, and generate from.

### Learn DecorX from inside the app

We added a new **Learn** page in the sidebar with tutorial videos for getting started with DecorX.

<figure><img src="https://3695926321-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2Fs8tZbY8CWo1FGpDCtDaO%2Fuploads%2FwEaEa4JSPKH4LTv2PMjA%2Fscreenshot-1779127726786.png?alt=media&#x26;token=de3f28b8-6b8f-4e6c-9814-3cfecc4ea22d" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>
{% endupdate %}

{% update date="2026-05-11" %}

## Batch Generator improvements, publishing controls, and workspace invites

We’ve improved grouped generation in Batch Generator, added clearer publishing controls for Products and Brand Kits, and introduced email-based workspace invites.

### Improved grouped generation in Batch Generator

We refined Batch Generator around grouped workflows, making it easier to organize products by scene and generate from the right context.

<figure><img src="https://3695926321-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2Fs8tZbY8CWo1FGpDCtDaO%2Fuploads%2FYSgnMxdU2pw0tC48Wrjg%2Fscreenshot-1778523273566.png?alt=media&#x26;token=38e9e9f4-ba3e-4cd8-9ee6-c09185f04d1c" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

The main generation controls now live in a floating footer instead of the top toolbar, keeping generation settings and the primary action accessible while leaving more space for groups and outputs.

<figure><img src="https://3695926321-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2Fs8tZbY8CWo1FGpDCtDaO%2Fuploads%2FfJXp5zHRTOa5H1wSyFbP%2Fscreenshot-1778524145721.png?alt=media&#x26;token=d7a97308-75d0-4949-9ce7-da150f6fb283" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

Groups can now be renamed inline, collapsed when not in use, and managed with clearer group-level actions. Previously hidden group actions, such as generating more images, viewing group notes, and deleting a group, are now surfaced directly on each group for faster access.

<figure><img src="https://3695926321-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2Fs8tZbY8CWo1FGpDCtDaO%2Fuploads%2FhZIVjrc02aF7LpuXhVvy%2Fscreenshot-1778524305524.png?alt=media&#x26;token=fd2aa987-fe97-4a0e-859e-98223c4c8a9e" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

Generation progress is also easier to follow. Group-level states now make it clearer when a group is generating, while improved loading placeholders help distinguish pending outputs from completed images.

<figure><img src="https://3695926321-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2Fs8tZbY8CWo1FGpDCtDaO%2Fuploads%2FAcNWw9w6ZVkpWSPmCrpF%2Fvideo-1778525247715.gif?alt=media&#x26;token=c9eb3509-71c0-42d6-9446-6c73e1e31975" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

### Better image provenance and metadata

Generated images now preserve more context about how they were created, including source inputs, dimensions, batch context, group context, and generation settings.

<figure><img src="https://3695926321-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2Fs8tZbY8CWo1FGpDCtDaO%2Fuploads%2FJEMYlk7w098IhOcWHSL6%2Fscreenshot-1778523601927.png?alt=media&#x26;token=8a94c5b2-8442-4fb4-8215-19a495ed4bde" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

This makes outputs easier to review, manage, and troubleshoot across Batch Generator and Gallery.

### Publish and archive Products and Brand Kits

Products and Brand Kits now support clearer workspace sharing states.

<figure><img src="https://3695926321-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2Fs8tZbY8CWo1FGpDCtDaO%2Fuploads%2FihD1P1MkpOEnmN0HzfQi%2Fscreenshot-1778522551780.png?alt=media&#x26;token=724dfdac-f226-4244-a63c-0c2d42fc48af" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

Keep assets private while they are still being prepared, publish them when they are ready for the team, or archive them when they should no longer appear in default lists and pickers.

Archived assets stay available for historical references, so older batches and records are not broken.

### Invite teammates by email

Workspace admins can now invite teammates directly from Workspace Settings.

Admins can choose a role, send an invite by email, and manage pending invites from the same place. Invited teammates are taken through a dedicated invite flow, including sign-in or sign-up when needed.

Older workspace join links have also been tightened so new joiners are added as members by default.

## Brand kit visibility

Control who can use and edit brand kits across your workspace.

<figure><img src="https://3695926321-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2Fs8tZbY8CWo1FGpDCtDaO%2Fuploads%2FNnVipw5xV3T7JyO5BZJF%2Fscreenshot-1777919207131.png?alt=media&#x26;token=501b70ad-4d25-48d9-90f8-373609abcc67" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

Brand kits can now be shared with the full workspace or kept private to the creator and workspace admins. This gives teams more control over which brand setups are available for generation, while protecting important brand guidance from accidental edits.

Users without edit access can still open a brand kit in a read-only state when they have permission to view or use it. Edit actions such as renaming, changing visibility, duplicating, or deleting are hidden when they are not available.

Brand kit permissions also apply in the Batch Generator, so users only see the brand kits they can use.

### More control over batch groups

Batch groups now support more detailed generation settings.

<figure><img src="https://3695926321-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2Fs8tZbY8CWo1FGpDCtDaO%2Fuploads%2FWf344OLIURdfl1Q1AVKS%2Fscreenshot-1777919971511.png?alt=media&#x26;token=a3c6aaf0-0259-46c4-ba69-1c9892f47dab" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

You can add a prompt for the overall batch, then refine individual groups with their own group-level prompts. This makes it easier to guide the overall direction of a batch while still adjusting specific room scenes or product combinations.

You can also change product quantities within each group, so repeated items like dining chairs, nightstands, stools, or accessories can be represented more accurately before generation.
