## Job Queue and Background Generation Improvements

We’ve added a new job queue experience to make longer-running generation tasks easier to track across DecorX.

You can now see active and recently completed jobs in one place, including Batch Generator and Fabric Mapper jobs. This makes it easier to keep working while larger batches run in the background.

#### Track Generation Progress Across Your Workspace

The queue shows job status, thumbnails, batch context, and progress updates as generation work moves from queued to running to completed.

<figure><img src="/files/OC12g8hFPUhN9CGGJkQ5" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

You can also jump back into the relevant Batch Generator or Fabric Mapper batch from the queue, so it’s easier to check progress without staying on one specific page.

#### Background Jobs for Fabric Mapper

Fabric Mapper generation now runs in the background, so larger fabric and finish batches are no longer tied to keeping the page open.

<figure><img src="/files/k7zufK4jhKXYnibKD6Gn" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

You’ll see progress for Fabric Mapper jobs in the queue, including how many combinations have completed. When possible, Fabric Mapper also reuses intermediate outputs to make repeat batch generation more efficient.

## Fabric Mapping and Leg Finish Improvements

We’ve shipped new tools for applying fabrics and leg finishes across your product catalog more quickly.

This update introduces a new bulk Fabric Mapper workflow and adds Leg Finish support inside Designer, making it easier to create product material variations without setting up each image one at a time.

### Bulk Fabric and Finish Mapping

Fabric Mapper is now available as a dedicated batch workflow for generating fabric and leg finish variations across multiple products at once.

<figure><img src="/files/0YwxUYLPM4jO8QcWHuB7" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

You can create a Fabric Mapper batch, add products, upload fabric swatches and leg finish swatches, then preview every combination in a visual matrix before generating. Each product is shown with fabrics and finishes laid out as a grid, making it easier to compare options and choose only the variations you want.

### Leg Finish in Designer

Designer now supports a new Leg Finish node for changing the leg finish on a furniture image directly on the canvas.

<figure><img src="/files/s3Djih4uKCgdh39fYSG0" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

Like Fabric Mapper, the Leg Finish node uses connected image inputs. You can connect a furniture image and a leg finish swatch, then generate a new product image with the updated finish.

## Designer Canvas, Batch Editor, and Video Improvements

We’ve shipped a new set of improvements across Designer, Batch Generator, editing tools, and media workflows to make DecorX more flexible for building, editing, and reviewing generated content.

This update includes new canvas tools, a redesigned Batch image editor, object-based product close-ups, video generation, and better support for video assets in your workspace.

### Fabric Mapper in Designer

Designer now supports a new Fabric Mapper workflow for applying a fabric swatch to a product image directly on the canvas.

<figure><img src="/files/KTpNkXFtpWVfYwoqSzri" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

Teams can connect a furniture image and fabric swatch, place the material on the product, refine the placement, and generate a fabric-applied result without leaving the board.

This makes it easier to explore fabric options, visualize material changes, and create quick product variations from existing assets.

### Notes on the Designer canvas

You can now add notes directly to Designer boards.

<figure><img src="/files/mqFlLILumZzRClGDlOh1" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

Notes support different colors and sizes, and can be edited inline on the canvas. This gives teams a simple way to leave context, organize ideas, or mark up creative directions while working through concepts.

### Product close-ups from detected objects

Batch editing now supports product close-ups from detected objects in an image.

<figure><img src="/files/zoXhpnM81UYUsnVAhFvj" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

Inside the Objects tool, you can select an object and generate a product-focused close-up from that region. This is useful when you want a more detailed view of a specific furniture piece or product without starting a new batch from scratch.

### Generate video from a Batch image

You can now generate short videos from still images inside the Batch editor.

<figure><img src="/files/1pD7tt1KWnqBVD3e7dXu" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

The video tool includes motion presets, duration controls, resolution options, and aspect ratio settings, making it easier to turn approved stills into lightweight motion assets for marketing, social, or product storytelling.
{% endupdate %}

## Batch Generator, Designer, and Asset Library improvements

We’ve made several updates across Batch Generator, Designer, Asset Library, and the image editor to make product imagery workflows clearer, more flexible, and easier to manage with a team.

These updates focus on a new way to organize approved assets, a more visual Designer workflow, smoother image review, in-flow Brand Kit editing, and better workspace clarity.

### New Asset Library

We added a new Asset Library for organizing approved images and creative assets.

<figure><img src="/files/3oCOQQ9PBM4HuDlVPMDa" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

Teams can now create collections, upload assets into specific collections, and move assets between collections. This gives your workspace a more dedicated place for approved visuals, instead of relying only on generated outputs in Gallery.

### Designer canvas and AI editing improvements

Designer now supports a more flexible, node-based workflow for creating and editing images.

<figure><img src="/files/tkSvkRp2maQIdNtIrdi4" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

This makes it easier to work visually with inputs, outputs, and editing actions on the canvas. Instead of everything feeling like a single linear flow, Designer can now support a more exploratory workflow where products, generated images, and edits connect together more naturally.

<figure><img src="/files/nstMgigO0xHUwiBCWd4h" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

Designer also includes more AI-powered editing tools directly in the inspector, including room cleaning, virtual staging, and prompt-based edits. These tools make it easier to clean up a scene, stage a room, or make quick prompt-based changes without leaving the canvas.

### Larger Batch image preview and editor

The Batch image preview and editor are now larger and easier to work with.

<figure><img src="/files/Jmz3fJsA2tl6uRHZGTRO" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

We improved the preview area so teams can review details more comfortably. This is especially helpful when checking product accuracy, image quality, or small visual issues before downloading or making edits.

### Edit Brand Kits directly from Batch

You can now edit Brand Kits directly from the Batch workflow.

<figure><img src="/files/ZiupLFtFcupVueTIALeY" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

This makes it easier to adjust the style direction while setting up a batch, without needing to leave the current flow. It’s especially useful when reviewing products, groups, and brand direction together before generating final imagery.

### User names and profile photos

Workspace members now have clearer user profiles with names and profile photos.

This makes it easier to understand who created or owns work across shared areas of the Portal, especially as more people from the same team join a workspace.

### More private Batch, Designer, and Gallery workspaces

Batches, Designer projects, and Gallery outputs now stay scoped to the person who created them.

This helps teams keep work-in-progress images and experiments easier to manage, especially when multiple people are testing, generating, or editing images in the same workspace.

### Better iPad and touch support

Designer now works better on iPad and touch devices.

Two-finger pan and pinch gestures are improved, and touch interactions are better separated between canvas movement, item selection, and board gestures.
{% endupdate %}

{% update date="2026-05-18" %}

## Shared product catalogs, smarter batch setup, and Learn videos

We’ve added DecorX-managed product catalogs, making it easier for teams to browse partner products, build batches, and generate images without manually uploading every item first.

### Enable shared product catalogs

Workspaces can now enable shared DecorX-managed product catalogs from **Workspace Settings**.

<figure><img src="/files/1zbLWL8pOHDyVdGfPovR" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

Available catalogs include **A|R|T Furniture, Caracole, and Jonathan Charles**. Once enabled, catalog products appear in the Product Library and in product pickers across Batch Generator.

For teams with larger catalogs, we can also help bring your own product catalog into DecorX, including product import, image cleanup, data mapping, and catalog setup.

### Browse partner catalogs in the Product Library

The Product Library now works better for larger catalogs.

<figure><img src="/files/AZYe9aJHEa0i6rPoolU5" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

You can browse and filter catalog products by details like brand, room, color, product type, and source. Product cards and detail views also include clearer source labels and richer product information, making it easier to find the right items before generating scenes.

### Generate and blend Brand Kits

Brand Kits are now easier to create from visual references.

<figure><img src="/files/XGQ875R8Fz9DsJDFmmpp" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

You can generate a draft Brand Kit from uploaded images, then review and refine the extracted style direction, reference content, and architecture details. This makes it faster to turn inspiration images or existing brand visuals into a reusable generation style.

<figure><img src="/files/o81rIE4M82lLQUshP3HO" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

You can also blend existing Brand Kits into a new Brand Kit, making it easier to combine multiple directions, evolve a style, or create a variation without starting from scratch.

### Smarter guided auto-grouping

Batch Generator now includes a guided auto-grouping flow.

<figure><img src="/files/e6u8oF8zeW0I5n9EEjAW" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

You can choose which products to group, set the desired scene density, define the pairing goal, and add a custom grouping prompt. Auto-grouped scenes are also capped at a recommended product count, helping groups stay easier to review, edit, and generate from.

### Learn DecorX from inside the app

We added a new **Learn** page in the sidebar with tutorial videos for getting started with DecorX.

<figure><img src="/files/P1EZGCwdkVEoKQfZBRUO" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>
{% endupdate %}

{% update date="2026-05-11" %}

## Batch Generator improvements, publishing controls, and workspace invites

We’ve improved grouped generation in Batch Generator, added clearer publishing controls for Products and Brand Kits, and introduced email-based workspace invites.

### Improved grouped generation in Batch Generator

We refined Batch Generator around grouped workflows, making it easier to organize products by scene and generate from the right context.

<figure><img src="/files/Rj1WzfF774MqJTMqbhmO" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

The main generation controls now live in a floating footer instead of the top toolbar, keeping generation settings and the primary action accessible while leaving more space for groups and outputs.

<figure><img src="/files/p6WJiAYASvpJoK0ZZd87" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

Groups can now be renamed inline, collapsed when not in use, and managed with clearer group-level actions. Previously hidden group actions, such as generating more images, viewing group notes, and deleting a group, are now surfaced directly on each group for faster access.

<figure><img src="/files/Hz2r87XaDZuYzkdoL4mS" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

Generation progress is also easier to follow. Group-level states now make it clearer when a group is generating, while improved loading placeholders help distinguish pending outputs from completed images.

<figure><img src="/files/125L6Eb4eVAstjjMHPEf" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

### Better image provenance and metadata

Generated images now preserve more context about how they were created, including source inputs, dimensions, batch context, group context, and generation settings.

<figure><img src="/files/vEzpYEsci70JcXusyrw4" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

This makes outputs easier to review, manage, and troubleshoot across Batch Generator and Gallery.

### Publish and archive Products and Brand Kits

Products and Brand Kits now support clearer workspace sharing states.

<figure><img src="/files/fqpr3SjE4vtyfHXmiW0f" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

Keep assets private while they are still being prepared, publish them when they are ready for the team, or archive them when they should no longer appear in default lists and pickers.

Archived assets stay available for historical references, so older batches and records are not broken.

### Invite teammates by email

Workspace admins can now invite teammates directly from Workspace Settings.

<figure><img src="/files/XLxKJ2yc8oZ1f3c2blTj" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

Admins can choose a role, send an invite by email, and manage pending invites from the same place. Invited teammates are taken through a dedicated invite flow, including sign-in or sign-up when needed.

Older workspace join links have also been tightened so new joiners are added as members by default.
{% endupdate %}

{% update date="2026-05-04" %}

## Brand kit visibility

Control who can use and edit brand kits across your workspace.

<figure><img src="/files/PE7QHWHTF6eDHKjAB9MP" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

Brand kits can now be shared with the full workspace or kept private to the creator and workspace admins. This gives teams more control over which brand setups are available for generation, while protecting important brand guidance from accidental edits.

Users without edit access can still open a brand kit in a read-only state when they have permission to view or use it. Edit actions such as renaming, changing visibility, duplicating, or deleting are hidden when they are not available.

Brand kit permissions also apply in the Batch Generator, so users only see the brand kits they can use.

### More control over batch groups

Batch groups now support more detailed generation settings.

<figure><img src="/files/JWH89EZz9Ka97muaI7QQ" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

You can add a prompt for the overall batch, then refine individual groups with their own group-level prompts. This makes it easier to guide the overall direction of a batch while still adjusting specific room scenes or product combinations.

You can also change product quantities within each group, so repeated items like dining chairs, nightstands, stools, or accessories can be represented more accurately before generation.

### Help and feedback

Get support, request features, and contact the team from the sidebar.

<figure><img src="/files/cMZr4JJ51rJ9PMh5Ddsu" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

The new Help & feedback menu gives users a clearer way to ask for help or share feedback while working in DecorX.

### Smaller improvements

* Added static Privacy and Terms pages
* Improved private brand kit preview handling in batch flows
